The staff of the Spiritual Life Center believes that a relationship with God is an integral part of addressing problems in living. Therapeutic services offered at the Center emphasize a Judeo-Christian framework, paying particular attention to the person's relationships with others and also to their religious experience and connection to a community of faith. The Center is a place where the importance of God in our lives is respected and encouraged to grow.
TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: The types of treatment offered through the Center include individual, marital, family and, group psychotherapy for a wide range of concerns. The Center provides a full range of counseling services, but with the understanding that this work cannot be done in isolation. It is only with the assistance of the Creator that genuine positive change can be made.
SERVICES OFFERED: The staff of the Center is committed to providing high quality professional services within accepted standards of clinical practice. After an initial assessment, the therapist and the individual seeking assistance come to an agreement about further meetings. This agreement covers such things as goals for treatment, who will be involved in the treatment (whether it will be the individual, the couple, the family, or some combination of all of these), and a schedule for meeting.
COLLATERAL SERVICES: The counselors at the Center often seek to integrate other types of religious experiences into treatment. Clients may be encouraged to consider "quiet days" /retreats, the use of a spiritual director, or other kinds of religious/spiritual tools and experience.
